Innovating on the original 24mm Probe lens, Laowa introduces the PeriProbe with both straight and 90° interchangeable periscope extensions that rotate 360° along the axis, unlocking countless unique perspectives to Natural History productions. An 85° angle of view with unmatched 2cm close focus, PeriProbe + Gates PLA80 adapter is a unique, versatile, and remarkably adaptable underwater macro imaging kit.

The Laowa Periprobe covers 35mm full frame sensors with a variety of mounts including Canon RF (RED KOMODO / RAPTOR compatibility), Canon EF, ARRI PL and Nikon F. Collaboration with Venus Optics means PeriProbe + PLA80 Adapter is a coherent system, allowing full submersion of this distinctive lens, turning 'Bug-Eye' into 'Goby Eye' imaging. The PLA80 kits include two custom 3D printed adapter gears to map focus / iris to the housing controls, and a custom Stackable Port Ring adapter to seal around the Laowa lens barrel. Since the Laowa front element is factory sealed, it leaves the Laowa lens probe extending a full 7" / 178mm from the housing seal.
