This waterproof Ikelite case (# 71315) for Panasonic Lumix S5 II, S5 IIX cameras is fully equipped and durable. Maximum depth 60 meters. Great for underwaterphotography and video while scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, swimming pools, and any water activities.
External strobes can be connected directly (manual triggering). You can also add advanced features like TTL lighting exposure with an optional DS link. Magnifying viewfinders are also available, if you need them.
Transparent, durable and light underwater housing
Because the underwater housing is transparent, you can see see your camera and o-ring seal through the back of the housing while preparing and using. The special design holds the rear o-ring in place naturally, making it easier to maintain and more reliable. When the housing is closed, you can see the o-ring create a solid, waterproof seal. Ikelite recommends using a pump with gauge to pull a vacuum on the housing and check for leaks prior to entering the water (pump not included). The specially formulated ABS-PC blend housing is highly durable yet significantly lighter than aluminum. The light color keeps your camera cooler when shooting in warm, sunny places.
Lens support
Ikelite lens ports are very light but strong. Also for rough conditions. Ikelite housings support many lenses, including popular zoom lenses. Simple gears allow easy adjustment for zoom and focus, with specific gears for each lens. Lens ports and zoom gears are not included and sold separately; check the port chart for compatibility. If you know what the numbers are of the port, gears etc that you need, you can easily find them by typing the number in the search field in the header of our webshop.
Wi-Fi transfer
Use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi to download photos to another device without taking the camera out of its case. The Wi-Fi only works above water and when the device is nearby.
Compatibility
Unless stated differently, this housing cannot be used with extra grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories on the camera in the housing. The way the lens and controls are placed means other camera models cannot fit or be adjusted for this housing. We don’t know of any other models than the Panasonic Lumix S5 II, S65 IIX that can be used with this housing.
