Versatile and User-Friendly Close-up Lens
The Inon UCL-G100 ZD is a close-up lens with moderate magnification within the UCL-G series, offering twice the magnification of the UCL-G165II SD (scale ratio). This lens is perfect for macro photography. It drastically reduces the minimum focusing distance while keeping the underwater field of view the same as when the GoPro is used alone. It's a user-friendly all-round lens with a deep depth of field, making it an excellent choice within its class.
Adjust the FOV Setting for Higher Magnification
The distance between the two markers indicates the shooting range of the UCL-G100 SD when the GoPro is set to "WIDE." GoPro cameras offer various field-of-view settings, and by switching to "Linear" or another narrower FOV, you can achieve even greater magnification. Shooting in high resolution, such as 4K with "1.4x" zoom, will further enlarge the subject with minimal image quality loss.
Blur-Free Focus Stick
The distance between the two markers shows the working range of the UCL-G100 SD when the GoPro is set to "WIDE." The tip of the Focus Stick represents the minimum focusing distance, while the far end of the depth of field is 8.2 cm / 3.2 inches from the tip.
It’s easy to capture sharp, detailed high-magnification close-up videos by referencing the Focus Stick and checking the composition on the rear monitor.
The Focus Stick rotates 360° and features click stops every 90°, allowing you to quickly fold it away when not in use. It can also be mounted vertically. The Focus Stick attaches to the lens with a retaining screw ring and can be detached when not needed.
