When you shoot macro photos (when the distance between the lens of the housing and the subject is 3 - 30cm / 1.2 - 12inch) using the 1G camera's onboard flash, part of the image will not be illuminated due to the shadow of the housing. By using this product, perfectly lit macro images can be taken with the 1G camera's onboard flash.
