An underwater drone is the solution for a safe, handy and efficient way of working during a search and/or rescue operation. In a search and/or rescue operation, you can think of a car that has fallen into the water or the missing person.

Search and rescue operations are often carried out with the deployment of divers to search for a missing or drowned person. This takes a lot of time and the necessary costs are associated with it. This method also involves the deployment of a great deal of equipment. With the use of an underwater drone, you can work faster, safer and more efficiently. It also limits the risks divers face during a deployment.

Traditional methods generally use equipment without an image, such as sonar that can only rely on the judgment level of the personnel. It is not possible to observe live. The images from an underwater drone can be viewed and assessed directly on a smartphone or tablet. If desired or for larger operations, the underwater image can even be streamed live or even connected to a command vehicle with multiple monitors.

Some models of underwater drones have the option to attach a robotic arm. This makes it possible to move or take objects to the surface.
