Of course the majority of all products work flawlessly. In case you do encounter a problem with one of our products, never hesitate to contact us, we gladly assist you solving the problem as soon as possible.

Shipping to our servicecenter from outside the EU
Are you shipping from outside the EU to our service center? Then please pay close attention when filling in the customs details on the shipping forms. Usually the description "Items are being returned for repair service" is fine, but please check with your local courier. Set the commercial value at € 0,- (or € 1,- if the system does not accept 0) If this is not correctly stated, customs charge import duties to us and the package will be REJECTED. The sender remains responsible at all times for paying any import duties that are charged to us.
Warranty periods
> Standard warranty new products: 2 years, unless stated otherwise on the invoice
> Warranty on pre-owned items: 3 months
> Warranty after repair /service: 3 months
Within warranty period
The warranty period is listed on your invoice. Within warranty period we glady help you according to the following warranty requisitions.
warranty provisions:
1. The product, as listed on the invoice, is covered by warranty during the warranty period, against faulty materials or workmanship, in addition to any local guarantee.
2. When a problem occurs with in the warranty period, caused by faulty materials or workmanship (determined by UWCameraStore.com / Onderwaterhuis.NL and/or supplier), ) UWCameraStore.com / Onderwaterhuis.NL and/or supplier will either repair (free of charge) or replace the product.
3. Repair or replacement will not renew or extend the original warranty period.
4. UWCameraStore.com / Onderwaterhuis.NL will not be liable for any damage caused by a faulty product.
5. Warranty is not valid when the product has been mis-used, or been modified/repaired by anyone else but UWCameraStore.com / Onderwaterhuis.NL , is not well maintained or when brands and/or serial numbers have been altered or removed from the product or proof of warranty.
6. When a defect occurs, the product has to be returned accompanied by the invoice and warranty documents if appropriate.
7. The warranty does not apply to supplies like batteries and bulbs nor damage caused by the use of such supplies.
8. Shippingcosts for returnshipment of the repaired equipment back to the owner outside the EU will be charged.
Outside warranty period
When a problem occurs outside the warranty period or if the problem is not covered by warranty (e.g. waterdamage, fall damage, misue) , of course will still gladly help you solving the problem. If possible we carry out the repair ourselves. We can also send the product to our supplier or the manufacturer for repair/service after approval of the repair-quote.

Repair, service and the standard service fee
Most services are completed within 2 - 3 weeks, after receipt of your equipment. Service can take longer when parts are not available or during peak times. Standard service fee for checking and providing an estimate is € 28,93 excl. VAT. When the service is approved, the estimate fee is waived. Outside the warranty period, additional costs, like shipping costs to the manufacturer will be charged.
